Dr. Rob McIntosh Dental Corporation has a state-of-the-art facility.  There have been huge technological advances in Prosthodontics in recent years.  These technologies, developed in isolation and tested for accuracy, now have seamless integration to provide patients with a dental experience not seen before.

  • Carestream 6200 x-ray sensors for visualizing teeth and bones in 2D
  • Carestream 8100 cone beam CT scanner for visualizing teeth and bones in 3D
  • Wireless Medit i700 intra-oral scanner for copying teeth and soft tissues in 3D
  • Optishade dental colorimeter for registering shade;
  • Exoplan software for fabricating custom implant surgical guides
  • Exocad software for designing any and all dental prostheses and restorations no matter the complexity
  • Asiga UV Max 3D printer for producing dental models, wax patterns, and acrylic prostheses and restorations
  • Matisse AI software for generating porcelain recipes for replicating tooth shade
  • Imes-Icore 150i Pro milling machine and Dekema Austromat 674i sintering furnace for producing all porcelain restorations (Zirconia and Emax)
  • Vita Smart Fire furnace for fusing stacked porcelain.

Meet Our Specialist

Dr. Rob McIntosh has practiced as a Prosthodontist in Winnipeg from 2005 until present, but has concurrently held teaching positions at the University of Manitoba Faculty of Dentistry and a dental consulting position with the Manitoba Public Insurance Corporation at various points between 2005 and 2010.
